Northampton Police Produce Video for Education

A video concerning the dangers of " Adults Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to Minors" is being produced by Video Gold Productions of Richboro for the Northampton Township Police Department and Council Rock School District.
The video will detail the criminal, civic, medical, and financial implications of this illegal practice.
Information from police officials, Bucks County District Attorney's office, lawyers, doctors, and the insurance industry will be included in the video, planned for completion in time for graduation.
The video is being financed through a $15,000 state grant procured by Pennsylvania State Representative Roy Reinard, R-178, a Holland resident.
After completion, it will be available to law enforcement agencies, schools, parent- teacher groups, local access cable channels, and through Representative Reinard.
The project is part of the community policing efforts of Northampton Township Police Department to provide public information on various topics and support the enforcement philosophy of Police Chief M. Barry Pilla, Jr., regarding public safety and his message of "You Booze, You Lose." |
